Job summary

Brunswick Group in Dallas is seeking an Associate to join our Energy & Resources team. You will deliver strategic counsel and hands-on support to clients facing geopolitical and market challenges, helping them communicate what they do and why it matters.

Lead and mentor the team, guide multiple accounts, craft messaging for media and stakeholders, and coordinate rapid-response research and client announcements with executives and journalists.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of relevant work experience in a related field.
• Energetic team player with strong self-motivation.
• Ability to operate with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Deep understanding of business, finance and markets.
• Capability to understanding multiple stakeholder positions for strategy.

Responsibilities

• Providing insight, guidance and advice to clients across industries.
• Advising clients to effectively communicate at critical moments.
• Developing and executing plans to advocate the client’s point of view to the media, employees and other critical stakeholders.
• Managing and mentoring team members; working with Partners and Directors on day-to-day management of staff and client deliverables.
• Overseeing research assignments on fast-moving situations with tight deadlines; distilling information into actionable points.
• Planning and executing client announcements and events, including talking points and media backgrounders.
