The role requires 7+ years in surveying with leadership experience, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and strong client communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of progressive surveying experience including leadership or management roles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all survey operations for the Charlotte office (field and office).
• Maintain 60–70% billable utilization while balancing leadership duties.
• Ensure quality control and consistency across all survey deliverables.
• Manage project lifecycles from proposal to completion including scheduling, budgeting, and client communication.
• Develop proposals, contracts, and assist in client negotiations.
• Monitor budgets, billing, and profitability; align operations with company goals.
• Lead training programs for field crews and CAD staff; promote new technologies.
