Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Medicine in Richmond seeks an Associate Director for the Injury and Violence Prevention Program (IVPP). The role reports to the IVPP Director and collaborates with the trauma center program director to advance prevention through education, research, and community outreach.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a health-related field with public health focus preferred.
• At least 3 years' experience leading hospital-community injury and violence prevention programs.
• Experience with grant-writing, data analyses, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Direct IVPP administration and development, leading IVPP teams and operational management, budgeting, and policy development.
• Provide supervision of IVPP management teams and oversight of ~25+ staff and program budgets.
• Lead development and implementation of long- and short-term goals for IVPP programs with progress reporting.
