Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) is seeking an Assoc Director HS 1-3 to lead the Injury and Violence Prevention Program (IVPP) within the School of Medicine's Trauma Center in Richmond, VA. The role supervises IVPP teams, aligns activities with strategic goals, and collaborates with hospital partners and funders.

The ideal candidate has a master's degree in a health-related field, strong leadership and grant-writing experience, and a track record of building programs that reduce injuries

Qualifications

• Master's degree in health-related field with public health focus preferred.
• At least 3 years leading hospital-community injury prevention programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and grant-writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IVPP administration and development; manage budgets.
• Lead IVPP teams; set long-term goals and report progress.
• Coordinate with IVPP director and Trauma Center program director.
• Develop policies and allocate resources and staff.
• Prepare grant proposals and fundraising documents.
• Represent IVPP to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with hospitals and funders on technical assistance.
