• DDS, DMD or equivalent and MBA or master's in health administration.
• Oregon Dental License or ability to obtain before start date.
• Substantial leadership experience (>5 years) in academic dentistry or a complex healthcare/clinical system.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role in an academic environment at a dental school or equivalent.

Job description

The Senior Associate Dean of Clinical Systems serves as the School of Dentistry’s senior clinical leader, responsible for setting the strategic direction, governance, and overall performance of the clinical enterprise. Reporting to the Dean, this role ensures alignment between the School of Dentistry’s clinical operations and OHSU Health’s strategic goals while advancing excellence in patient care, dental education, accreditation, compliance, and innovation. The position provides executive oversight of predoctoral and postdoctoral clinical systems through a team of senior leaders and is accountable for enterprise-wide clinical standards, quality and patient safety, operational effectiveness, financial stewardship, and stakeholder engagement. Success is measured through achievement of strategic initiatives, accreditation outcomes, patient access and quality metrics, financial performance, and organizational leadership effectiveness.
