Job summary

OHSU - School of Dentistry in Portland seeks a Senior Associate Dean of Clinical Systems to align the clinical enterprise with OHSU Health's goals and advance patient care, education, and compliance. You will lead a team of senior leaders, shape strategy, and ensure performance across predoctoral and postdoctoral clinics.

Qualifications

• DDS, DMD or equivalent and MBA or master's in health administration.
• Oregon Dental License or ability to obtain before start date.
• Substantial leadership experience (>5 years) in academic dentistry or a complex healthcare/clinical system.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role in an academic environment at a dental school or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Leading long-term clinical strategy and transformation efforts
• Overseeing compliance and accreditation activities
• Managing quality assurance and risk management programs
• Governing clinical technology and EHR systems
• Ensuring efficient and effective patient care delivery across all School of Dentistry clinical sites
• Final authority for clinical budgeting, resource allocation, and initiatives that support financial sustainability and growth
