What You’ll Do

The Senior Associate Data Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and testing data solutions using the enterprise framework. This role applies software delivery skills and seeks to improve craftsmanship. Senior Associate Data Engineers contribute opinions on design decisions and participate in agile ceremonies. They actively manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting issues to management.

How You’ll Do It

• Execute various data integration solutions independently, recognize data patterns, and seek advice on approaches.
• Contribute opinions to design decisions and understand tradeoffs.
• Develop skills in data warehouse tools, Cloud, agile, and related technologies.
• Participate in team agile ceremonies and assist new engineers with onboarding.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Data Integration concepts and tools, DW Design, Metadata documentation, Data Profiling, Data Security, Data Quality, Data Pipeline, and Metadata Management.

Qualifications You’ll Need

The Basics

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in Data Platform Administration/Engineering.

Physical and Cognitive Requirements

• Primarily stationary work, indoors in an office setting.
• Operate office equipment; communicate verbally and in writing.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Strong SQL experience.
• Experience with data integration tools and technologies (Unix/Linux, Python).
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., AbInitio, DataStage, Informatica).
• Experience with relational databases, Cloud tools, and Snowflake.
• Basic knowledge of DevOps CI/CD pipelines or Data pipelines.
