About The Team

DoorDash’s New Business Verticals organization focuses on accelerating one of our strategic pillars — DashMart, our grocery delivery offering. We’re building and scaling new ways to delight our customers, leveraging the DoorDash platform. DashMart’s goal is to provide fresh, high-quality, and local groceries to customer doorsteps, wherever that doorstep may be! The Strategic Real Estate team is responsible for identifying new locations for DashMart and optimizing our current real estate footprint.

About The Role

We are hiring a Senior Associate for our DashMart Strategy & Operations organization. You will assess DashMart’s real estate footprint in each market, conduct analyses (e.g., market evaluation, tradeoff analysis, recommendations), and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. This involves defining high-level strategy and understanding operational details. You will help develop the approach to best serve customers nationwide. The role reports to the Associate Manager of the Real Estate Search & Launch team. It is expected to be remote, with potential for hybrid work.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and analyze real estate markets and footprints.
  • Develop strategies to optimize location selection and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, design, operations, finance, and marketing.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making.
Qualifications
  • 2-4+ years of experience in business development, operations, strategy, consulting, or related fields.
  • BS/BA degree required.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and SQL, experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma, etc.).
  • Ability to work at both strategic and operational levels, comfortable with detail-oriented tasks and long-term planning.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
Additional Information

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Compensation ranges from $78,200 to $115,000 USD, depending on location and experience. Benefits include equity, comprehensive health coverage, paid parental leave, wellness programs, and more. This role is aligned with DoorDash’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
