Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in communications, public relations or public affairs, agency or Capitol Hill a plus.
• Strong understanding of the Beltway and national media landscape.
• Clear writing, editing and proofreading to translate policy or corporate issues into compelling narratives.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Content development: draft press releases, op-eds, messaging frameworks, executive briefs and social copy.
• Media relations & strategy: build media lists, pitches and outreach across business, policy and trade outlets.
• Research & intelligence: synthesize data on trends, regulations, competition and coverage for client strategy.
• Strategic ideation: contribute fresh ideas to advance client priorities in team brainstorms.
• Client experience & account support: coordinate meetings, prepare status reports, track deadlines.
