Job summary

Software Placement Group, a large law firm, seeks a Senior Associate Attorney in Los Angeles or Irvine, CA. This hybrid role requires in-office presence on Mondays with remote work other days, handling complex insurance coverage litigation for domestic and international insurers.

You will analyze policies, draft opinions, and provide actionable recommendations while engaging in depositions and trials with a seasoned team.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
• Law Review and/or Honors required.
• Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing.
• 6+ years of substantive litigation experience, with a focus on insurance coverage matters.
• Admission to other states (TX, NY, WA, or CO) is an asset.
• Experience analyzing complex insurance policies.

Overview

A large, well-established law firm is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney to join its Insurance Coverage Practice Group, handling complex, high-value coverage litigation and market conduct matters for domestic and international insurers. This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles or Irvine, CA, remote every day except Monday, when in-office presence is required.

What you'll do

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team

Compensation and benefits

• Expected annual base salary range of $200,000–$235,000, as determined by experience and market factors
