Qualifications

• At least 10 years of plaintiff-side personal injury trial experience.
• Proven ability to lead first-chair trials.

Responsibilities

• First-chair plaintiff personal injury trials from jury selection through verdict.
• Manage complex personal injury matters through litigation and resolution.
• Develop trial strategy and prepare cases thoroughly for court.
• Conduct and defend depositions, including expert and fact-witness depositions.
• Draft and argue substantive motions and handle court appearances.
• Attend hearings, mediations, settlement conferences and case-valuation meetings.
• Negotiate high-value settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers.
• Work closely with clients, paralegals, experts and the firm’s support departments.
• Mentor junior and mid-level attorneys and provide guidance on litigation and trial strategy.
• Handle matters involving automobile accidents, premises liability, Labor Law, nursing-home negligence and occasional medical-malpractice claims.

Senior Personal Injury Trial Attorney - Port Washington, NY – Up to $250k Base + 50% Bonus

Location/Schedule: Port Washington, Long Island – In office five days per week

Base Salary: $250,000, plus a discretionary annual performance bonus
