This is a remote, full-time position, ideal for a Family Law attorney with at least five years of experience who is eager to embrace a different approach to practicing law. The Senior Associate Attorney will be responsible for guiding clients through their challenges, helping them navigate the legal system, and working collaboratively with a team of professionals to achieve the best outcomes for clients.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation in family law matters, focusing on client empowerment and positive outcomes.
  • Work with clients to understand their goals and help them build a vision for their future.
  • Listen actively to clients’ needs and guide them through the decision-making process.
  • Advocate for clients in various forums, including negotiations, mediation, and litigation.
  • Develop and implement strategies that align with clients’ values, hopes, and desires.
  • Work collaboratively with a team, including attorneys, paralegals, and other professionals, to provide comprehensive services to clients.
  • Help clients by connecting them with additional resources like counselors, financial planners, and other professionals as needed.
  • Lead and mentor junior attorneys and other team members.
  • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and provide an excellent experience throughout the legal process.
  • Contribute to the firm's growth by attracting new clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in Family Law, preferably in Colorado.
  • Strong experience in client communication and advocacy.
  • A passion for helping clients navigate family conflict and transition.
  • Ability to develop creative solutions to complex family law issues.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work remotely as part of a distributed team.
  • Strong ethical compass and commitment to delivering excellent client service.
  • Independent and self-sufficient with the ability to ask for assistance when needed.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Colorado Bar (Required).
