Job summary

Jobot seeks a Senior Associate Attorney to join our Toledo, Ohio team in a permanent role focused on complex corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, governance, and securities. You will work with top attorneys to advise clients, draft and negotiate agreements, and represent clients in various forums.

The successful candidate will mentor junior staff, stay current on laws and industry trends, and contribute to a culture of professionalism and excellence.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state Bar Association.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience practicing corporate law, with focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and securities.
• Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Strong leadership skills and experience mentoring junior attorneys and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on mergers, governance, securities and related matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, agreements, and memoranda.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case prep and strategy.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure top representation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends.
• Mentor and train junior attorneys and legal staff.

We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and passionate Senior Associate Attorney to join our thriving legal team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of complex corporate law matters. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in corporate law, with a strong emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and securities. Responsibilities

• Providing expert legal advice to our corporate clients on a wide range of matters including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities, and other related areas.
