Qualifications

Job Description

Purpose

To manage both judicial foreclosure and litigation cases with emphasis on residential real estate litigation, mortgage and transactional matters, and to protect the client’s interest in litigation proceedings.

Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities

  • Manage cases from inception to completion.
  • Prepare analysis of case and advise client regarding strategies.
  • Draft court pleadings.
  • Handle discovery, including filing and defense of motions.
  • Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in person.
  • Other duties and special projects as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Juris Doctor from accredited law school.
  • 5 years’ experience in the practice of law, preferably litigation, real estate or mortgage law.
  • Admission to practice law in the state of California. Other bar admissions to states we practice is a plus.
  • Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Must have ability to interpret client systems.
  • Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize large caseload.
