Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key member of a modeling team within the finance department responsible for modeling, reporting, and business analytics
  • Execute Prophet model conversions and development based on centralized governance policy
  • Utilize advanced modeling techniques to reflect characteristics of complex product designs
  • Collaborate with business units to understand requested model changes and assist in model acceptance
  • Document all changes and testing to the models
Qualifications
  • FSA designation, career ASA, or equivalent
  • Experience with open actuarial software such as Prophet, MoSes/RAFM, ALFA, etc.
  • Knowledge of asset liability management, valuation, and/or projection models
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex actuarial concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and handle multiple tasks within demanding time schedules
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of FIS Prophet software
  • Familiarity with Agile and Lean processes
  • Experience in supporting complex projects to successful completion
  • Strong relationship building and collaboration skills with internal and external clients
  • Ability to think outside the box and work with innovative actuarial practices
