A leading financial services firm is seeking a Senior Associate Accountant for their Investment Accounting team in Des Moines. The role involves detailed financial analysis, compliance, and collaboration with teams on investment strategies. Candidates should have a strong background in accounting principles and relevant experience, along with a focus on automation and operational excellence.
The Investment Accounting team is looking for a Senior Associate Accountant who possesses initiative and passion for investment accounting. We are looking for someone who wants to deepen their knowledge of investments and systems (ex. Allvue, AWS, PAM Accounting system, etc.).The role is on our investment accounting team which is responsible for the daily and monthly investment accounting for our consolidated (General Account) as well as multiple private funds for our Private Alternative Credit asset class. Functions on the team include daily processing at an asset level, monthly and quarterly reporting, reconciliations, valuation, corporate actions, security builds, and impairments. Meeting deadlines, control focused, attention to detail as well as balancing multiple priorities and tasks will be key in this role. Successful candidates will be individuals who embrace change, challenge the status quo, actively participates in generating new ideas and continues to advance automation.
