Job summary

A leading retail company in St. Clairsville seeks an Assistant Store Manager to maintain guest services and support store operations. The successful candidate will help maximize sales and profitability through staff development and effective inventory control. Applicants must be 18+, have prior retail or management experience, and be physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods. The position offers an hourly rate of $16.75 - $17.00, contingent on qualifications and experience.

• Prior retail and/or management experience is essential.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds for over 8 hours.

Overview

Hourly rate ranges from $16.75 - $17.00 per hour and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and maintaining Guest Services.
• Support the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store.
• Ensure maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage.
• Oversee all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• This position will work up to 38 hours per week.
• The minimum age requirement for an Assistant Store Manager is 18.
• The physical demands of the job require in excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Prior retail and/or management experience is required.
