Job summary

Spencer Gifts - Spirit Halloween is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive guest service excellence and store performance. The role involves supporting the Store Manager in daily operations, training staff, and ensuring strong sales while managing expenses and shrinkage.

Merchandising and inventory control are key responsibilities aligned with company policies. Applicants should have retail or management experience, be able to stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• Prior retail or management experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and maintaining Guest Services.
• Supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store.
• Ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage.
• All aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with all Company policies and procedures.

Hourly rate ranges from $20.90 to $21.15 and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

Work Details

This position will work up to 38 hours per week.

The minimum age requirement for an Assistant Store Manager is 18.

The physical demands of the job require in excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Prior retail and or management experience is required.
