Bozzuto seeks a Senior Assistant Property Manager to lead on-site operations, drive occupancy, and coach the team in a fast-paced apartment community. This role supports the GM and ensures exceptional resident experiences while maintaining Bozzuto standards across the property in Los Angeles.

The ideal candidate has a 4-year college degree and 2+ years in property management or hospitality, with strong communication and YARDI skills, plus a customer-first mindset to deliver extraordinary service.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience in the property management, hospitality or retail industries.
• Exposure to rent collection processes, budgets and accounts receivable.
• Proficient in leveraging social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A sharp professional appearance.
• Competent with industry software (YARDI) and related apps.
• Sales aptitude.

You’re a quick thinker and thrive in a fast-paced environment, yet your obsession for details positions you perfectly for this second in command role.

As an Senior Assistant Property Manager (Assistant General Manager), your primary responsibilities include:

• Leading by example, living the standards and behaviors consistent with the core values and culture of Bozzuto
• Contributing to the achievement of established financial objectives by collecting resident rent, posting rental receipts and managing delinquency
• Achieving occupancy levels by conducting informative and personalized tours of the community which result in new leases
• Building brand loyalty and reaching resident retention goals by striving to ensure every resident interaction is positive
• Ensuring that the community’s interior and exterior are impeccable and the team appropriately represents the Bozzuto brand with a crisp, professional appearance
• Respectfully coaching and mentoring team members when the PM/GM is not present
• Working weekends when prospective residents are out looking for their new home, one to two weekends per month with two days off during the week

What You Bring to Us

• 4 year college degree or equivalent relevant experience
• 2+ years of experience in the property management, hospitality or retail industries
• Exposure to rent collection processes, budgets and account receivables
• Proficient in leveraging social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram and a passion to create and deliver engaging and distinctive content
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• A sharp professional appearance
• Competentwith industry software (YARDI preferred), apps and computer programs
• Sales aptitude

This position is eligible for additional bonus opportunities.

Salary Range

$75,000—$85,000 USD
