Job summary

Bloomingdale’s in New York seeks a Senior Assistant Planner to partner with the Planner, develop location-specific financial plans, and optimize vendor plans to grow sales and profitability. You will forecast daily sales and stock, manage inventory levels, and coordinate with planning and merchant teams to ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically.
• Experience with inventory planning and replenishment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Planner to develop location-specific financial plans and vendor plans.
• Forecast daily sales and stock by channel and location to support ROF process.
• Guide insights and analytics to drive opportunities and minimize risks for vendors.
• Attend vendor meetings to negotiate plans and advocate for brand distribution and replenishment.
• Perform quarterly analysis to inform future strategy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
