Job summary

Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, MD seeks a full-time Senior Assistant Golf Professional to lead Golf Operations, deliver exceptional member experiences, and advance championship golf programs. You will manage tournaments, mentor staff, coordinate instruction at the Golf Performance Center, and partner with Food & Beverage and other departments to deliver seamless service for Members and guests.

PGA membership or progress through PGA PGM is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pro golf operations experience in private clubs.
• Passion for golf, instruction, tournaments, and member experience.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support tournaments, outings, and events for an active membership.
• Build relationships with Members through daily interaction and service.
• Support Junior, Ladies', and Men's golf programs.
• Provide instruction using the Golf Performance Center.
• Contribute to Golf Shop merchandising and inventory management.
• Assist with budgeting, inventories, and financial tracking.
• Partner with Food & Beverage, TME, Golf Course & Grounds, and other departments to enhance the Member experience.
• Mentor interns and developing golf professionals.
• Oversee weekly staff schedule.
