Harrison Street Asset Management in San Francisco seeks a Vice President or Director of Asset Management to lead a portfolio of office and residential properties, working with local partners and third-party service providers.

You will develop business plans, perform financial analyses, oversee budgeting and valuations, and communicate results to clients and investment committees while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of real estate experience.
• Substantial experience in asset management, capital markets, financial analysis, leasing, and development oversight.
• Strong foundation in real estate investing and management fundamentals.
• Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business plans for a portfolio of real estate property investments, covering all aspects of value creation including marketing, leasing, operations, and dispositions.
• Review and analyze monthly financial results; identify operating issues and oversee implementation of solutions in partnership with property managers.
• Perform financial modeling including lease underwriting, property valuations, and hold/sell analyses.
• Maximize cash flow and property values through revenue management and operating expense optimization.
• Lead regular meetings with property management teams and ownership/investment stakeholders.
• Conduct quarterly valuations, annual reforecasting, and budgeting for all assigned assets.
• Prepare comprehensive client reporting and investment committee materials.
