Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Senior Assembly Technician to join the Parts Super Center team in Indianapolis, IN. You will assemble electromechanical products, perform electrical testing, and help maintain quality and ISO documentation.

You will train junior technicians, interpret drawings, and support inventory management in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude and precise attention to documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Assembly, Quality Control, or Inventory Management.
• Experience in mechanical assembly of electromechanical products.
• Demonstrated experience performing electrical testing on assemblies (use of multimeter, oscilloscope, and continuity testing).
• High School or GED - Required.
• Technical school a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions.
• Install and wire electrical components into mechanical assemblies per schematics.
• Perform electrical tests and verification using test equipment.
• Assemble product according to schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Verify items and quantities on pick lists and pack accordingly.
• Lead one-on-one buddy training for Level I and II Assemblers.
• Assist in inventory management.
• Support ISO certification and documentation.
