Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Senior Assembly Technician to join the Parts Super Center team in Indianapolis, IN. This role focuses on assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and quality control of electromechanical assemblies, while training junior technicians.

You will read engineering drawings, wire components, perform tests with multimeters and oscilloscopes, and ensure conformance to quality standards. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are required, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Assembly, Quality Control, or Inventory Management.
• Prior experience in mechanical assembly of electromechanical products.
• Demonstrated experience performing electrical testing on assemblies (multimeter, oscilloscope, continuity testing).
• High School or GED - Required.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and interpret engineering drawings, bills of material and work instructions.
• Install and wire electrical components into mechanical assemblies per schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Perform electrical testing and verification using test equipment.
• Assemble product according to wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Verify items and quantities on the pick list and pack finished product per instructions.
• Visually inspect parts to Rexel quality standards and report non-conforming material.
