Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an assembler to prepare and assemble mechanical and electronic components, following fabrication documents and specifications. You will read drawings, gather parts, and verify wiring terminations while building racks, enclosures, and panels.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing heights up to 60 feet, and using hand and power tools. The team follows safety plans and documents progress in company systems, with on-site work in our Tysons, VA facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 5+ years of experience.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Climb and work at heights up to 60 feet; balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, ladders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment, devices, and components for shipping.
• Read parts lists and gather necessary components, tools, and materials.
• Read and follow fabrication drawings, specifications, and bills of materials to assemble equipment.
• Assist with wiring terminations, cabling, and basic component testing and documentation.
• Maintain progress status by documenting actions and needs; update asset information.
