We are on a journey of continuous growth and are looking for our next star – a passionate Senior Assembly Lead.

This role ensures that the production department meets its goals in production, quality assurance, and scheduling by supporting the supervisor in managing production activities on the assembly lines. The Sr. Assembly Lead must be adaptable to schedule changes, capable of high-stress decision-making, and proficient in organizational paperwork.

Your main responsibilities include:

  1. Providing backup relief for the Assembly supervisor during their absence.
  2. Serving as a subject matter expert in the work area, coaching, and guiding line leads.
  3. Filling in for Assembly Line Leads as needed.
  4. Ensuring employees receive clear instructions, proper training, tools, and PPE; demonstrating procedures when necessary.
  5. Assisting in daily line and shift meetings covering safety, metrics, and work assignments.
  6. Assessing part quality, troubleshooting concerns, and conducting escalated inspections.
  7. Ensuring timely and accurate labor transfers.
  8. Following safety practices, reporting incidents, and investigating safety issues.
  9. Reinforcing PPE usage among team members.
  10. Adjusting staffing levels based on production needs.
  11. Reviewing schedules, work orders, and materials requirements.
  12. Completing shift reports and communicating issues to supervisors.
  13. Ensuring efficiency and attainment goals are met.
  14. Handling scrap tickets and ensuring proper tagging and shipping of production.
  15. Resolving technical process issues.
  16. Performing assembly activities and minor product adjustments.
  17. Reviewing demand in Oracle for components.
  18. Adhering to safety policies and quality standards.
  19. Maintaining good housekeeping.
  20. Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

We seek candidates with:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • At least 2 years in manufacturing assembly or rework, including 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Basic math skills
  • Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs multiple times a day, including overhead lifting and pushing
  • Minimum height of 60 inches
  • Ability to work in noisy, hot, humid, or cold environments
