Job summary

CPI Antenna Technologies, Orbital Systems in Irving, TX is seeking an Assembler IV to perform advanced electronic and mechanical assembly for SATCOM antennas. You will operate soldering irons and precision tools to deliver high-quality assemblies and may lead teammates on complex tasks.

The role requires reading drawings, implementing changes, and supporting engineering with documentation. A U.S. citizen with the ability to lift 40 lbs is required, with an eventual transition to Plano location.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years’ related assembly experience preferred
• Experience following engineering drawings and schematics
• Ability to train and lead others and ensure quality to engineering standards
• Experience installing or configuring software across Windows and macOS environments
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Familiar with safety protocols and working in a team

Responsibilities

• Diverse, intricate high-level assembly work across electronic and mechanical domains
• Use assembly tools and setup equipment, train others as needed
• Interpret assembly sketches, blueprints, and schematics
• Perform rework per drawing changes and initiate as necessary
• Ensure quality with testing equipment and documentation support
• Assist engineering with process improvements
