Job summary

Club Car LLC in Appling, GA is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler to support the production of vehicles under supervision. You may fill in for absent Assemblers and perform rework as needed, contributing to high quality and cost efficiency.

You'll train teammates, ensure tools are available, verify procedures with QA, and help improve production processes while maintaining safety and a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/Equivalent required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Minimum of six months of Club Car Assembly experience or three years of assembly experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and communicate technical issues to department Assemblers and have demonstrated leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Fill in as an Assembler anywhere in the department when regular Assemblers are absent or unavailable.
• Ensure jobs are set up and tools are available to meet daily manufacturing requirements; train/co-train associates in assembly methods and Kanban requirements.
• Ensure Assemblers have the proper tools and gauges to perform their tasks.
• Coordinate with Quality Control for initial approval of first/final parts; coordinate disposition of rejected parts with supervisor.
• Train Assemblers in policies and procedures related to safety, cleanliness, and orderliness of the department.
• Rework and repair vehicles in finished goods or red tag areas; install missing components as needed.
• Submit work orders and tool repair tickets promptly; provide input to supervisors for process improvements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
