Sunbelt Asphalt Surfaces, Inc. seeks an experienced Asphalt Quality Control Supervisor to oversee QC operations for two asphalt plants. You will ensure materials, processes, and testing meet GDOT requirements and company standards, bringing 5+ years of relevant experience.

This role emphasizes safety, QA, and leadership across multiple sites. The position involves direct supervision of QC staff, coordination with plant personnel, and ongoing documentation and audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in asphalt QC or related testing.
• Strong knowledge of asphalt mix design, aggregate gradation, and volumetrics.
• Familiarity with ASTM, AASHTO, and GDOT specs.
• Experience with data analysis, control charts, and corrective actions.
• Proven ability to supervise multiple production sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QC operations at two asphalt plants.
• Monitor production to ensure compliance with mix designs and formulas.
• Review test results and production data.
• Coordinate with plant staff to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain records, certifications, and calibration docs.
• Support audits and inspections.
• Promote safety and continuous improvement.
