Job summary

Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. (SIA) seeks an Engineering Consultant for our Nuclear Analytical Service team, focusing on ASME III Div 5 elevated-temperature design, creep-fatigue evaluation, and advanced reactor applications.

This role supports high-temperature structural analyses and development of engineering software tools for reactor technologies and the existing nuclear fleet. The candidate will interact with clients to provide engineering solutions, code interpretations, results,

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering.
• Minimum 6–10 years in design engineering for elevated-temperature reactor applications.
• Experience with NRC regulations.
• Experience with high-temperature materials and creep-fatigue.
• Familiarity with Inservice Inspection and License Renewal.

Responsibilities

• Support ASME III Div 5 stress, fatigue, creep-fatigue, elevated-temperature evaluations.
• Support nuclear fleet and advanced reactor design, incl. high-temperature materials and code evaluations.
• Interact with clients to provide engineering solutions and analyses.
• Contribute to proposals for project development and scoping.
• Manage technical projects and deliver solutions to industry clients.
• Develop new leads and project opportunities with clients.
