Honda is seeking a Design Research Senior Engineer in North America to advance market and consumer trend insights within its CoE Division. The role emphasizes innovation and aligns with Honda's vision of achieving a zero environmental footprint while enhancing mobility.

Responsibilities include conducting market sensing for North America, summarizing findings for internal stakeholders, and proposing and executing advanced research initiatives using Agile methods while managing technical project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in science/engineering research.
• 5+ years of experience in digital chip architectures, benchmarking, and open-source IP/ISA.
• Familiarity with CPU, GPU, NPU, FPGAs, SoCs, and Assembly language.

Responsabilités

• Conduct market sensing for North America and extract emerging technologies.
• Summarize and correlate findings with internal stakeholders.
• Propose and execute advanced research initiatives using Agile methodologies.
• Manage technical project resources and maintain knowledge of state-of-the-art principles.
• Develop new technology research themes for Honda's technical strategy.
• Build relationships with research partners, industry experts, and policy leaders.
• Identify root causes of complex technical problems and develop solutions.
• Document findings in emerging technologies to enhance technical capabilities.
