Job summary

GeoLogics is seeking an Advanced ASIC/FPGA Engineer for a contractor assignment in Bloomington, MN. The role involves specification, design, verification and documentation for ASIC/FPGA developments with potential leadership as needed.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in STEM, be able to obtain a security clearance (Secret preferred), and work on a non-benefitted W2 contract. Industry tools experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in definition, design and verification of ASIC/FPGA blocks.
• Strong documentation and communication skills for engineering work.
• Ability to work across teams on complex hardware development.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, verification and documentation for ASIC/FPGA developments.
• Determine architecture, system simulation and detailed design approach.
• Define module interfaces and device design and simulation.
• Evaluate design flow including synthesis, place and route, timing and power.
• Create test and simulation plans and verify results.
• Review vendor capabilities and engineering tools as needed.
• Contribute to process improvement and lifecycle activities.
• Support generation of technical products using established standards.
