Designs, analyzes, develops, modifies, and tests diagnostics, firmware, simulators, and emulators for HPE Slingshot™ high‑performance networking ASICs and boards. HPE Slingshot is a modern, high‑performance interconnect used in large‑scale HPC and AI clusters, delivering industry‑leading bandwidth, low latency, and scalability for demanding workloads. Slingshot implements Ultra Ethernet Consortium (UEC) capabilities and is aligned with the Ultra Ethernet standard, helping define and deliver next‑generation Ethernet semantics optimized for HPC and AI at scale. In this role, the engineer contributes directly to the product definition, implementation, and bring‑up of NIC and switch diagnostics and firmware, working closely with ASIC, board, and software teams in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional, multi‑site Agile environment.

Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. – United States of America: Annual Salary USD 142,000 - 270,000 in Colorado // 135,000 - 310,500 in Minnesota & Wisconsin The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered.
