Job summary

Blake Fulenwider Ford of Andrews is seeking a Certified Technician to perform repairs and maintenance to dealership and manufacturer standards. You will diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical systems, suspension, brakes and A/C, using advanced diagnostic tools and service equipment.

You’ll test-drive to verify repairs and communicate with Service Advisors to keep customers informed. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of automotive technician experience, ASE Certification, strong

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive technician experience.
• ASE Certification required.
• A-Level skills (diagnostics, electrical, engine repair).
• Strong understanding of modern vehicle technology.
• Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and learn new systems quickly.
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and repair complex automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Test-drive vehicles and verify repairs for quality and accuracy.
• Communicate with Service Advisors to ensure customers are informed of recommended services.
• Accurately estimate repair timelines and additional service needs.
• Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
