Job summary

Serra Nissan is seeking dedicated Certified Technicians to join our Birmingham service team. Technicians will maintain, inspect, and repair vehicles in the service bay and provide accurate information to service managers and advisors.

We value ASE certification, a strong team orientation, and the ability to work efficiently in a dealership setting. The role includes diagnosing and repairing a broad range of automotive systems and collaborating with service staff to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of service technician experience required.
• ASE Certification required.
• A-level qualifications including diagnostic, electrical and engine repair.
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and dealership procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems (engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, etc.).
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional services for customers.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
