Job summary

G3 Innovative Solutions in Washington, DC is seeking an ASCA Senior Developer to provide technical leadership for secure enterprise cloud solutions. The Senior Developer will lead cross-system cloud initiatives, shape architecture and engineering standards, and guide designs from early concept through production deployment.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen with an active Top Secret clearance and a Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or equivalent, with eight+ years of relevant development

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Eight or more years of relevant development experience is recommended.
• Demonstrated senior-level experience designing, developing, and supporting secure cloud solutions.
• Ability to lead complex technical delivery efforts with minimal oversight and guide less-experienced developers.
• Strong cloud architecture, software engineering, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for architecture, design, development, deployment, and optimization of secure cloud applications and services.
• Establish and refine development standards, engineering patterns, and reusable approaches for enterprise cloud delivery.
• Lead complex, cross-system cloud initiatives from requirements and solution design through testing, release, and sustainment.
• Evaluate design tradeoffs related to scalability, resiliency, performance, maintainability, and cybersecurity.
• Provide technical reviews, troubleshooting leadership, and recommendations for improving existing cloud solutions.
• Coordinate with architecture, operations, cybersecurity, and customer stakeholders to implement approved technical solutions.
• Mentor Mid-level and Junior developers and help resolve high-complexity engineering problems.
• Produce and maintain solution designs, engineering decisions, and implementation documentation.
• Ops on cloud technologies, best practices, and solution delivery.
• Serves as a technical advisor across cross-functional teams and participate in enterprise-level cloud governance.

The Senior Developer will direct complex cloud development initiatives, shape architecture and engineering standards, and guide multi-system solutions from early design through production deployment and ongoing optimization.

The role requires independent technical judgment, hands-on delivery, and mentorship of Mid-level and Junior developers in a mission-driven federal environment.
