Job summary

Endava is seeking an experienced AS/400 developer to design, modify, and enhance applications using Synon/COOL 2E, COBOL/400, CL/400 and DB2/400. You will develop RxCLAIM claims adjudication functionality and support complex healthcare workflows.

You will analyze legacy processing logic, improve interfaces with PBM systems, and translate business needs into robust technical solutions. Remote-friendly, with occasional onsite collaboration to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Synon/COOL 2E, COBOL/400, CL/400/CLLE, DB2/400.
• Strong RxCLAIM experience and claims adjudication knowledge.
• Ability to lead technically when required and work independently.
• Experience with integrating RxCLAIM/AS400 apps with downstream systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, and enhance AS/400 applications.
• Develop and support RxCLAIM/pharmacy claims functionality.
• Analyze complex claim processing logic and business rules.
• Maintain integrations with healthcare and PBM systems.
• Provide technical guidance and lead development activities.
