Maricopa County’s Department of Transportation seeks an Arterial Operations Program Manager to lead arterial traffic signal operations, manage the Traffic Management Center, and advance ITS projects across regional roadways to improve traffic flow and safety.

The role requires a PE license, Civil Engineering degree, and experience with signal timing and ITS design. PTOE is a plus. Office-based with some field collaboration in Phoenix area.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE registration with ability to obtain Arizona license within six months.
• PTOE certification is valued and beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Arterial Operations Program to improve arterial flow and safety.
• Manage the Traffic Management Center (TMC) and supervise staff.
• Develop and implement traffic signal timing for progression, events, and incidents.
