Job summary

Dow Jones Energy is seeking a Senior Research Analyst I to cover chemical markets and produce weekly and monthly updates for clients. You will develop analytical approaches, support long-term projects, and report to the Executive Director - Research and Analysis.

Role involves working with aromatics analyses and presenting findings to clients. Ideal candidates have a chemical engineering/chemistry background, 2+ years in related roles, and comfort with industry data, economics, and client-facing

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional work experience.
• General understanding of Chemical industry.
• Conceptual understanding of how economics and politics influence regional/global markets.
• Microsoft Office expertise.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of industry processes for product chains.
• Discover prices through industry contacts; forecast prices.
• Maintain supply/demand data and cost studies support.
• Presentations for clients in offices or onsite.
