Akima Technical Solutions (ATS) seeks a skilled mechanic to support Army and related fleets with on-site maintenance and diagnostics. The role requires active SECRET clearance and U.S.

citizenship, with at least five years of hard maintenance experience on Army common vehicles. Responsibilities include inspections, repairs, troubleshooting, and support for us army platforms at multiple sites, including potential deployments.

Formación

• Active security clearance SECRET or higher.
• US citizen status required.
• Minimum 5 years of hard maintenance experience on Army/Common platforms.
• Ability to lift 40+ pounds and perform prolonged physical tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the customer SME on maintenance issues for Army Common platforms including FMTV, LMTV, M-series and MRAP variants.
• Perform technical inspections, repairs, and services at organizational and intermediate levels for Army common equipment.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled vehicle maintenance at unit sites and deployed locations as needed.
• Troubleshoot engines, transmissions and electrical systems to determine required repairs per technical manuals.
• Diagnose trouble sources and determine repair scope for each equipment.
• Assist in equipment turn-ins by replacing worn parts, grinding/adjusting components, and overhauling subsystems per safety procedures.
