Job summary

Thompson Gray is seeking a highly motivated Budget/Finance Analyst to support the U.S. Army in Orlando, Florida.

The position requires 5+ years of experience in the financial and resource management field, with strong communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills across Army budgets and programs. Duties include financial execution of appropriated funds, review of obligations and disbursements in GFEBS and related systems, and advising leadership on solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial/resource management as a Program, Budget, and/or Financial Analyst or Budget Officer in an Army organization.
• Broad experience in Budget and Financial Execution with knowledge of Fiscal Law and financial regulations.
• 5+ years in Army financial systems (GFEBS, PMRT/CCaR, GCSS-Army, EDA, DARQ, WAWF and SDW).

Responsibilities

• Experience with financial execution of appropriated funds (RDT&E, OMA, Procurement, Congressional Adds, and FMS).
• Review and analyze commitments, obligations, and disbursements using GFEBS ERP and BI functions.
• Research and interpret guidance to develop solutions and brief management.
• Provide advice to management and present information to support recommendations.
• Communicate succinctly to diverse audiences.
• Participate in leadership meetings and collaborate with staff.
• Translate complex data into understandable language for stakeholders.
