Job summary

Bluemercury is seeking an Area Manager to lead store teams, deliver exceptional client service, and drive sales across multiple locations. You will mentor staff, manage performance, and maintain a premium in-store experience with extensive product knowledge in skincare, makeup, haircare, and fragrances.

You will travel between stores weekly to supervise operations, build relationships with clients, and ensure brand standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of retail management experience is required; beauty industry preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to connect with colleagues, clients and leaders.
• Passion for beauty and staying updated with trends and products.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to travel weekly between locations.
• Advanced authority and leadership in retail teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead store teams to deliver exceptional client service and drive KPIs.
• Build client relationships and provide product expertise across beauty categories.
• Develop and execute store-level events to drive incremental sales.
• Recruit, mentor and develop top performers; plan for succession.
• Oversee inventory management and store operations for efficiency.
• Occasionally lead in-store beauty workshops and share insights.
