Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager for the Architecture North group, with offices in Detroit, Chicago, Columbus, and Lansing. The role focuses on managing medium to large projects, client development, and proposals, while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate holds a professional architecture degree, NCARB preferred, and has 7+ years of related experience including 2+ years in project management. Travel ~20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Professional architecture degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least 7 years of related experience, with 5 years of technical experience and at least 2 years of project management experience.
• If no degree, at least 11 years of relevant experience including technical work and 2+ years of managing projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage medium to large projects including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Develop client contacts to secure future work.
• Develop proposals including scope and pricing.
• Provide project quality control.
• Coordinate with clients and design/build partners.
• Develop and execute project workplans and deliverables.
• Schedule and lead team and client meetings.
• Deliver presentations to clients, partners, and AHJs.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary in-house and sub-consultant teams.
• Travel approximately 20%.
