Job Title: Senior Project Manager

About Our Client:

Addison Group is seeking two Senior Project Managers on behalf of our client, a well-established architectural firm known for its work in multifamily, hospitality, and senior living spaces. With a collaborative team of around 50 employees, the firm values mentorship, upward mobility, and impactful design work. This opening comes as a result of recent retirements and is part of a broader effort to invest in the firm’s future leadership.

Job Description:

The Senior Project Manager will lead the planning and execution of architectural projects from concept through construction. This individual will mentor junior staff, interface directly with clients, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and construction phases of 1–2 concurrent ground-up projects
  • Act as primary client contact and ensure strong communication throughout project lifecycle
  • Mentor and supervise 3–4 team members
  • Oversee and manage project timelines, budgets, and scopes
  • Facilitate internal and external meetings, including project kickoffs
  • Review construction documents for accuracy, code compliance, and design intent
  • Conduct site visits and participate in public hearings as needed
Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of architectural project management experience
  • Recent (within past 3–5 years) experience with Type V wood frame construction in multifamily, senior living, or hospitality projects
  • Strong leadership, client management, and mentoring skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required; Architectural registration preferred
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam required; Revit and AutoCAD are advantageous
  • Experience managing projects from the ground up (remodel or commercial-only experience not applicable)
  • Schedule: 4x9-hour days and a half-day on Fridays
  • Must be available by 8:00 AM for 8:30 AM meetings
  • One work-from-home day may be allowed per week (Tues–Thurs only, fixed day)
  • Interview process includes two rounds: initial in-person and final virtual interview (approx. 1.5 hours each)
