The Sr. Architectural Designer/Architect will play a crucial role in managing high-quality architectural projects, leading document production, ensuring code compliance, and coordinating with regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, document, and ensure compliance with codes and standards; assess design options accordingly.
  • Maintain communication with regulatory agencies; participate in project interviews or presentations as needed.
  • Manage project communications, including meeting notes, agency reviews, and cost estimates.
  • Develop project program requirements.
  • Ensure projects meet construction budgets and schedules.
  • Oversee production of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate design and documentation activities among project team members, clients, and consultants.
  • Ensure documents meet Quality Control standards; conduct QC reviews of contract documents.
  • Conduct technical and peer reviews for complex projects.
  • Mentor and guide junior architectural staff.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of construction drawings and document production processes.
  • Effective leadership in project meetings with design teams, clients, and consultants.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • Maintain continuing education credits for professional licensure.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff.
