EXP is seeking a Senior Architect/Project Manager for Mission Critical projects in Coral Gables, FL, or another Florida office. You will lead design teams, coordinate disciplines, and oversee projects from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters Degree in Architecture required.
• Licensed Architect with strong client interaction and design development.
• Experience in construction documents preparation and codes.
• Construction administration experience a plus.
• Previous mission critical project experience preferred.
• Ability to balance client and PM expectations and meet deadlines.
• Team leadership of designers across multiple disciplines.
• Licensed Architect Required.
• Proficient with AutoCAD; Revit preferred; Photoshop/Illustrator/SketchUp helpful.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and technical team from Concept through Construction Documents and Construction Phase.
• Serve as primary client point of contact and coordinate schedules with Program/Project Managers.
• Coordinate with in-house and outside subconsultants across multiple projects.
• Ensure designs meet building codes and ADA requirements; maintain design concept.
• Develop design documents and participate in client presentations.
• Travel to client sites across the US for surveys or meetings.
• Oversee bid and construction phase activities in the office and field.
• Act as a technical resource for project teams.
