Job summary

Shive-Hattery in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Senior Architect to expand the government buildings market presence. You will lead design and project management for federal, justice, and civic projects, and serve as the primary architectural representative in the Phoenix community.

You will collaborate with Market Leader and Business Unit Director to pursue opportunities, supervise non-licensed staff, ensure compliance with codes, and guide teams through complex projects.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in architecture (B.Arch./M.Arch. or equivalent).
• AZ licensure or the ability to become licensed in AZ is required.
• 7+ years of experience in multidisciplinary teams delivering complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and project management of complex federal, justice, and civic projects.
• Act as the primary architectural representative in the Phoenix community for Shive-Hattery.
• Coordinate design documents and manage licensed/unlicensed staff through the design process.
