Job summary

We seek a Salesforce technical lead to design and build complex solutions using Apex and Lightning Web Components, write SOQL, and drive security, data governance, and platform evolution. You will mentor engineers, guide DevOps practices, and shape AI-enabled workflows, with opportunities to impact multi-dimensional grantmaking analytics.

Qualifications

• Strong Salesforce development experience with Apex and LWC.
• Proficient in writing SOQL for complex data models.
• Prior responsibility for security, data governance, and compliance.
• Experience mentoring engineers and reviewing technical work.
• Knowledge of release automation and DevOps best practices.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Design and build complex Salesforce solutions using Apex and Lightning Web Components, producing durable technical deliverables.
• Write SOQL against a custom object model representing donor contributions, budgets, and outgoing grants.
• Take a lead role in system security, data compliance, and platform feature evaluation.

Technical Leadership and Team Enablement:

• Partner with the senior technical lead to shape the technical direction of the system.
• Mentor team members, review technical work, and help resolve escalated user support cases.
• Assess Salesforce platform changes and integrate AI-enabled workflows like our in-house Salesforce MCP.

DevOps and Delivery:

• Implement sandbox-to-production deployment pipelines using Gearset and IDE-based workflows.
• Serve as release manager and advocate for DevOps best practices.
• Contribute to the team's approach to AI-enabled development workflows.

You Might Work On:

• Designing architecture for custom budget allocations for multidimensional grantmaking analysis.
• Building a flexible tagging engine for robust reporting across programs.
• Maintaining and improving Lightning Web Components for our Data Model Redesign project.
