Job summary

3Cloud is seeking a Senior Solution Architect focused on Data & AI and Azure-based transformations. You will drive advisory conversations, build reference architectures, and collaborate with sales to close strategic engagements.

The role blends technical leadership with cross-team mentorship in a remote-friendly, nationwide setting. The ideal candidate has strong Data & AI expertise, Azure proficiency, and a track record in pre-sales, solution development, and modern software practices.

Qualifications

• Expertise in cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure; AWS/GCP knowledge a plus.
• Proven pre-sales and sales-support experience in professional services.
• Strong technical presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide teams; provide constructive feedback.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with proactive improvement approach.
• Detail oriented with commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Azure certification (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as an Industry Subject Matter Expert driving solutions conversation based on needs of clients Industry
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with key client stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor throughout their Azure-based technology transformation and Data & AI journey.
• Engage with customers, both onsite and remotely, by providing technical expertise during the sales process.
• Provide expertise to the sales team, supporting them in pursuing and closing engagements related to Data & AI and Azure-based solutions.
• Collaborate with sales executives on strategy, pursuit, and closure of key opportunities, aiming to expand revenue influence and client satisfaction.
• Collaborating with sales teams to ensure effective sales strategies and alignment with client needs.
• Lead the creation of reference architectures, documentation, and intellectual property that ensures secure, scalable, and profitable service delivery.
• Build and deliver high-value and reusable enablement content that measurably improves the team’s effectiveness and execution.
• Continuously improve your professional skills with a focus on personal mastery and team learning through activities such as training, reading, and seeking mentorship from others.
• Work cross-departmentally to find solutions to complex scenarios and integration issues.
• Participate in team mentorship and knowledge sharing, fostering a culture of growth and innovation.
• Contribute to the ideation and development of internal and external solutions that support business initiatives and cross-practice opportunities.
• Drive the creation of accelerators, intellectual property, and innovative solutions that enhance services offerings.
• Act as a Peer Mentor, supporting the development of the Solution Architecture team as well as other Data & AI practice groups.

Requirements

• Expertise in cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, and familiarity with AWS and GCP is advantageous.
• Proven experience in pre-sales and sales support within a professional services organization, with a track record of successfully pursuing and closing engagements.
• Technical presentation and communication skills
• Strong ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance to team members.
• Passion for enhancing client experiences and achieving business goals using cloud solutions.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for improvement.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering excellence and accuracy.
• Microsoft Azure certification, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, is a plus.
• Ability to travel if needed and comply with the company’s travel policy
• Strong background in Data & AI and solution development, with exposure to a wide range of cloud/Azure solutions.
• Experience with modern software development and their associated technologies
• Proficiency in designing and developing cloud applications to meet client needs.
• Understanding of the end-to-end software development lifecycle
• Experience with cloud computing and related technologies and practices
• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment

If you are hired at 3Cloud your final base salary is based on factors such as skills, education, experience and/or geographic location.Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above includes the full base salary range for the role.It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.

Base Salary Range

$145,200—$217,800 USD
