Job summary

Arise is seeking a Senior Software Architect to own the architecture of web, mobile, and integration platforms, guiding a small team while coding in .NET. You will modernize legacy portals to cloud-native AWS solutions and design enterprise portals using ASP.NET MVC and React.

Responsibilities include setting architecture standards, leading design reviews, and mentoring engineers with an eye toward AI-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years in solution architecture or technical leadership.
• Deep C# and .NET expertise — .NET Framework and .NET 8+, ASP.NET MVC, and Web APIs.
• Experience modernizing legacy .NET applications at scale.
• Proven track record architecting both web and mobile applications.
• AWS cloud architecture; SQL Server and Entity Framework; OAuth2/JWT/SSO.
• React and TypeScript experience; ability to mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture across web, mobile, and integration platforms; architect both web and mobile while coding in .NET.
• Lead modernization of legacy portals into scalable, cloud-native AWS solutions.
• Architect and develop enterprise portals using ASP.NET MVC and React.
• Define architecture standards, coding practices, and governance; lead design and code reviews.
• Design REST-based services, API governance, and enterprise integrations.
• Mentor .NET engineers and build growth plans for the team.
• Identify opportunities to improve development with AI tooling.
